27 Apr IMAGES AND NEWS FROM SALONE DEL MOBILE 2015
While the world waits for the opening of Expo 2015, Italy’s skilled artisans once again showed what they can do at the International Salone del Mobile held in Milan on 14 – 19 April. It is the most important event in the world dedicated to furniture and furnishings, where 300.000 visitors from all over the world come to discover the products and innovations offered by the best manufacturers. As it has done for decades, Mariani Affreschi was once again among them.
Instead of words, we will let the images guide you through our stand, amongst the new ArteMariani artworks and beautiful Mariani Affreschi settings: two brands that have been living together in our laboratory for years.

The latest creation by ArteMariani: "Leopard" on gold leaf, hand painted on canvas. The painting decorates the lounge bar of Classico Italiano at the Salone del Mobile
Among our new artistic creations, we would like to mention the new “Veranda” room decorated with the trompe l’oeil technique. Our artists have painted every wall and ceiling, using light and bright shades to give viewers a feeling of relaxation in the midst of nature. The frescoed ceiling, with a dome in the centre, allows the gaze to continue into the blue sky through the optical illusion of a fake grating and climbing flowers.

.
Finally, we are also pleased to announce our new collaboration with Alf Italia Arredamenti, which decorated its stand with some contemporary ArteMariani works, carefully selected by the interior designers, Bruna Bortolin and Katia Basso.

Exhibiting at the Milan Salone del Mobile is a privilege and a must for those of us who want our beautiful frescoes to decorate the most beautiful homes in the world.
Meeting architects, retailers and interior designers is an important stimulus for continuous innovation of the collections and for meeting the needs of customers. For this reason, each fresco that leaves our laboratory must be the final touch for a home with class, wherever it is found.

PS: We will back soon with an exclusive article on our participation in the FuoriSalone (Opificio 31, Via Tortona), as part of the “Alice in Wonderland” event by Living Ooh
