“REGOLO D’ORO”: BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR HISTORICAL BRESCIAN COMPANIES

On 20 May 2013, Mariani Affreschi received the “Regolo d’Oro” award from the Mayor of Brescia, Adriano Paroli.

This award is given to long-standing companies in the city of Brescia that have demonstrated excellence in their field. It is sponsored by the Committee for the Promotion and Development of the Competitiveness of Enterprises and the Innovation of the Local Distribution System, and is chaired by the Councillor for Production, Maurizio Margaroli.
The beautiful Salone Vanvitelliano (inside the Palazzo of Loggia di Brescia) played host to the awards ceremony, which was attended by the most important manufacturing, commerce and craft enterprises in Brescia’s entrepreneurial history, carefully selected by the municipal committee and trade associations.

The award was accepted by Alberto Mariani, owner of Mariani Affreschi together with his siblings, Laura and Alessandro.
As a pleasant coincidence, this important recognition came in the same year that the family business celebrated its 50th anniversary. It was founded in 1963 by Carlo Mariani.
