26 Apr A DESIRE FOR MODERNITY AND INNOVATION: MARIANI AFFRESCHI AT THE SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE OF MILAN
Hoards and hoards of overseas visitors and a passionate interest in contemporary frescos. Alberto Mariani is extremely pleased with the recent International Furniture Fair in Milan and, on returning from the international show with his team, he told us about this year’s novelties.

“Our classic collections”, explains Alberto, “have always generated interest among seekers of high status products for interiors and furnishings. But the real novelty, which is appreciated by everyone, is the Arte Mariani collection and the new works that we created with our artists over the last few months.”

The desire for frescos is stronger than ever, even more so when the subjects are modern and aesthetically appealing. And the new Mariani Affreschi line responds perfectly to this renewed demand in the interior design and contemporary art field.

Continual updates and the desire to innovate and look beyond are the driving force behind the entrepreneurial spirit of Mariani. This is further reconfirmed by the numerous collaborations that the company has formed, which were unveiled at the Milanese furniture fair this year.
“We firmly believe in partnerships as a fundamental business philosophy in today’s market. Extremely interesting collaborations have developed with Bertolotto, Bakokko Group and Vetro dei Dogi. Through this exchange of ideas and projects, new and exciting creations that meet the needs of contemporary living are often born,”.

These partnerships have produced unique works, such as the dropped ceilings (ready to install directly in your home), by Bakokko Group and painted by Mariani; Bertolotto doors with frescos by the Brescia-based company’s artists and the modern interiors, including Murano glass with the embellishment of magical frescos. Creations that we will talk about more in the articles to follow.
