Every home has its own special history that expresses the soul of the inhabitants. However, a living space can become even more interesting when art is given the task of making the rooms unique through the use of custom artistic decorations.
The walls of this beautiful residence in Forlì recount the stories hidden in antique books, which are the passion of the home owner, a scholar of early printed and 16th century books. “It was a very interesting work,” explains the Mariani artist who oversaw the decorations in the house. “I particularly enjoyed fulfilling the owner’s desire to “tell” the history of the native provinces of the respective families in order to make every space unique and captivating, as well as special and tailored to them”.

The walls of the children’s bedroom are painted with a “trompe l’oeil” design depicting forests, castles and realistic views of the Forli countryside.
